Welcome

The High Ash Scout Group is based in Stoke Hammond near Milton Keynes. We run with a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop meeting every Thursday evening (during term time). All young people (both boys and girls from any faith) from the surrounding villages and nearby areas of Milton Keynes are welcome to come along and give the adventure a try!

We are a small village group so currently have no waiting list. Young people typically try us out for 3-4 weeks before deciding if they want to take their promise and join scouting.

Insurance, premises, training and equipment all cost money, so we have to charge a termly fee of £44 per young person to cover all this. We also run extra activities such as camps that we charge for separately ..... we always advise the cost in advance and try to keep to a tight budget.

The adult leaders are all volunteers and work hard to deliver the balanced programme of fun and adventure that scouting is renowned for world wide. We also have a small parents committee that support the group as trustees and help with fundraising etc. The more help we get ... the better we become!
